N.Y. nursing home aide allegedly hit elderly resident


A nursing home aide has been arraigned on criminal charges for allegedly hitting a nursing home resident, The Attorney General’s Office announced a 36-year-old nurse aide was arraigned in Syracuse City Court for first-degree falsifying business records, first-degree endangering the welfare of an incompetent or physically disabled person, felonies, and willful violation of health laws, a misdemeanor.
The defendant allegedly hit a male resident in the face and pushed him, causing him to trip and fall and hit his shoulder at the James Square Health and Rehabilitation Center.
