A former charge nurse at a South Jersey nursing home claims she was fired after bringing forth allegations of nursing home abuse, Fox 29 reported.
The nurse worked at the Voorhees Center Nursing Home for eight years, but was forced to leave her job after bringing forth allegations of abuse, according to the report.
Alleged abuse reportedly included a recently deceased 85-year-old woman who suffered from dementia.
Department of Health records and federal inspection records found conditions at the nursing home constitute “immediate jeopardy to resident health and safety. That citing was lifted the same day when quick changes were made, according to the report.
